Artwork made with watercolor pencils can look like both drawings and paintings. I've used a traditional red-brown color for most of this portrait and accented the deeper portions with a purple color.
The paper measures 6" x 9" and the large white unpainted space in the lower part of the portrait helps balance the portrait itself and lend a classic look to the composition.
